WAR CLOUD IDEAL TYPE OF STALLION XKW YORK X. Y., December 17. Horsemen here while deploring the loss of such a high class horse as War Cloud are predicting a brilliant future for him in the stud in Prince, where his owner A. K. Macomber will shortly ship him. A superb type of a horse in every respect is War Cloud. His wonderfullv rich, dark mahogany color and extreme-lv fine coat at once attract attention, and his beautiful head, clean throttle and crested neck captivate all who see him. His quality and finish are near perfection. In conformation he represents the highest type of the modern thoroughbred, with speed written all over him; as faultless of figure and fine of limb as Sun Driar, without the ring-l.mes which disfigure the AV.-S. Kilmer star. War Clouds legs are as clean as they make them. He is a high lifed, wide awake, intelligent, interesting horse, and more than one horseman who admired him remarked that with his rare and fashionable breeding he ought to leave his mark on the breed of race horses and make even a greater reputation in the stud than he did on the race course.
