THE LOSS OF ROAMER KEENLY FELT ANDREW MILLER STABLE FALLS OFF GREATLY IN 1919 IN EARNINGS THROUGH LACK OF THE VETERANS CUSTOMARY ANNUAL CONTRIBUTION For the first time in his racing career Roamer fell lame last summer and was hastily placed in retirement. This prevented his customary contribution to the earnings of Andrew Millers "stable, the loss being keenly felt in the final accounting. It has been announced that this celebrity and long-time public favorite will be raced again in 1920, mainly to give him a chance to enter the list of winners of 00,000 or more. He how only lacks ,172 of being the winner of that sum. After Roamers retirement the Miller stable did not amount to much, although Snapdragon II., Recount, Biff Bang and Ticket all won enough to pay their way.
