CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF Jack Hare Jr. worked a mile in 1:45 at the Fair Grounds yesterday and apparently is in condition for a race right now. He is said to be a certain starter in the New Years Handicap at the Fair Grounds. The remount station at Front Royal, Va., has a pack of hounds now, and application has been made for recognition by the Hunts Committee and the National Steeplechase Association. This would naturally; mean that it is the desire to conduct a race meeting in connection -with the Hunt Cliib.
