THE PIRATE was away well and, racing forwardly from the start, finished gamely. BRIDGE PLAYER was in a Jam in the early running, but came fast when ridden hard. Won easily; second and third driving. CHARLESTONIAN rushed into the lead at once, showed, the most speed from the start and held on gamely in the stretcli to outstay MILTON ROBLEE. The latter gained steadily until in the last sixteenth, where he tired a trifle. SAFRANOR was well up all, the way. VERITY finished gamely. QUARTETTE showed improvement. INDIAN SPRING raced forwardly, but lost ground by coming wide. KIRSTIES CUB set the pace to the far turn and quit.
