Morris, who was taken to the hospital following an injury by an automobile last night. His right breast was badly crushed and several ribs broken. His wife reached his bedside late in the aftewioon, coming here from Washington. During the afternoon a report gained currency at the track that Morris had died,- but he was still alive after the racing was concluded.
