The son of Cyllene got a not inconsiderable number of winners, but his champion son was the steeplechaser Troytown, winner of both the Grand National and the Paris Steeplechase. In addition, Zria sired twenty-four or twenty-five other winners, which secured sixty races wortli not far short of 50,000. Troytown was killed while running at Auteuil, France, in May. Silver Ring and the Irish four-year-old Max are other high-class steeplechasers Which Zria sired.
