GRAYSONS RACE AGAINST TIME On Saturday, August 7, at Brighouse Park, Van-I couver, B. C, the five-year-old gelding Grayson was sent after the Canadian record of 30 for three--eighths of a mile, made by Irma Lee at the same track September 13, 1910. Grayson, paced by old Tony Faust, succeeded in lowering the record to 31, but as it was not accomplished in an actual race it will only lie considered as against time, the same as Reamers record for a mile. However, on the same day in the first race at that track On Parole equaled the Canadian track record for the same distance. The American record for three-eighths of a mile is .13 1-2, made by Atoka at Butte, Montana, September C, 100C. : ;
