JOCKEY CARM0DY TO RIDE IN ENGLAND I LONDON. England, August 24. James Carmody, the American jockey, has arrived in this country with letters of introduction from Mr. Belmont and oilier influential owners, and is taking up his residence at Newmarket. He has a good riding repu- tation in the States, is 17 years of age, and can go to the scales at about 100 pounds. 1 Carmody intends to stay in England, get into I t.nglish riding ways and make connection with a Kood stable. - I
