TO DISCUSS WINTER RACING PROBLEMS LEXINGTON, Ky., October . Upon receipt of a telegram today from G. I. Bryan of Baltimore, . fixing Monday, October 11, at noon, at the Sinton Hotel, Cincinnati, as the time and place for a meeting to discuss Jefferson Park racing matters, presi- j dent Hal Price Headley announced that he has appointed Messrs. James Arthur, Howard Oots and G. II. Keene as a committee of three of the Thoroughbred Horse Association to enter into a tentative agreement vith the Jefferson Park people, und also the New Orleans Fair Grounds management, which is to be submitted for approval to a meeting of the horsemen who Avill race at New Orleans, to be held later at Latonia. The purpose is to come, to !an-agreement as to purses, rnles and other matters iu advance of the opening of the winter season arid to avoid controversies and friction during the racing season. The date for the meeting with Kalri Grounds representatives is yet to be fixed. Committees also will be appointed to have u similar meetipg with representatives of. the Havana qui. Tijuana tracks.
