CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF The English and French turf newspapers agree that the price paid by Mr. Si in ins for Prince Palatine was 1,300,000 francs. The Sledmere Stud recently lost by death the mare Dodragh, the dam of Zlriovia, a racer of distinction and winner of the Cambridgeshire of 1918. At York, England, September 8, Jqmes Carraody, the seventeen -year-old American jockey, who lias just arrived in this country, had his- first mount, this being in the Clifton Plate on Mlngarie, which got off badly. Horse and Hound A. Henry Higginson of, Boston, F. A. Bonsai of Monkton, Md.. and A. E. Ogilvie of Canada are to. be the judges of hunters; and jumpers at the National Horse Show this year. Mr. Higginson ami Mr. Bonsai officiated in 1919.
