SIR BARTON IN FINE FETTLE WINDSOR, Ontario, October S. A well-balanced card furnished interesting contests at Kenilworth tills afternoon. Racing conditions could not have bpen improved upon and a large attendance turned out. J. B. Crawford furnished the winner of tlie afternoons feature, the Guineas Handicap, in Uncle John, which came from behind entering the home stretch and drew away into an easy lead. II. G. Bedwell had Sir Barton out this morning and sent him half a mile in -19. When asked to express his opinion of Sir Bartons chances against Man o War. Bedwell said, "Sir Barton shipped well, is iu fine fettle and doing all that I have asked of him in his work for the race. I am making no predictions, but I believe Sir Barton will not disgrace himself in the most pretentious effort of his successful turf career. Man o" War galloped a quarter through the stretch this morning iu 22 seconds. Both horses will receive their final "prep" for the race tomorrow. Frank J. Bruen, manager of the Cuban-Amerkan Jockey Club, accompanied by a party of sportsman from Havana, will be here on Tuesday next to witness the running of the great race between Man o War and Sir Barton. Commander J. K. L. Ross and Sir Montague Allen are coming down from Montreal in their private cars. They will be accompanied by a party of friends. O. K.. G, Billings and W. R. Coe have wired for reservation for the big race. ;
