ARAB HORSES WIN 300-MILE RACE OAMP DEVENS, Ayer, Mass., October 15. The Arab .horses Crabbett iiid Rustem Bey were the first to finish here in the 300-mile endurance test for cavalry mounts, which began at Fort Ethan Allen, Vermont, last Monday. They finished in good condition, with springy step, after a run of sixty miles from Concord, N. H this morning, forty-one minutes ahead of the minimum for checking in. Half an hour later the army remount services grnde tlwroughbreds. Mile. Denise and Bunkie, which had been in the van for the first three days, came in, also within tlie time limit, and all four pranced about the camp until tljey could officially cross the finish line.
