Woneasily; second and third driving. SOBRIGADE, after racing in close pursuit of the leader to the stretch, took tlie lead in the stretch and won going away. MY FRIEND PAT displayed excellent speed in setting the pace to the :last eighth, but gave way when challenged. JAMAICA BELLE began slowly and closed a big gap. FOAM, in close quarters in the early running, had to race wide and also closed a great gap. TOUT OR quit in the stretcli. FOLLY had a rough race. FAIR MAC led nearly throughout and. was retarded by the rider of STUCCO, which clung Jto his tail and saddle: cloth going to the last jump, but fenced well and made a game finish. SOUMANGHA is a good- fencer and ran a good and game race under an inexperienced rider. JAY BIRD raced well, but tired in the last eighth. STUCCO took the wrong course after taking the last jump. Won driving; second and third the same. MAD HATTER raced to tlie front early in the first half mile and, setting a good pace, raced YELLOW HAND into defeat and, in a great finish, outstayed BONIFACE. The latter seems to have regained his good form, was a close-up contender throughout and was- wearing the winner down at the end. THE PORTER ran well, finished fast and outstayed PAUL JONES. The latter closed a. big gap and tired in the filial drive. EXTERMINATOR was in a pocket practically all of the way. ON WATCH was unlucky aiid finished fast.
