NEW TRAINER FOR MACOMBER STABLE LONDON, England, November1 fu. Although the news is not official, it is generally understood that AVilliam Duke will not; train for A. K. Macomber next year, the conditions offered by that owner being unacceptable. Duke has already received several offers, including, it is said, one from N. E. Ambatie-los, the Greek shipping magnate. It is now probable, however, that he will not make any decision until his return from his annual winter trip to the United States. He intends leaving St. Louis de Poissy in the near future. Mr. Macomber is returning to the States for a brief time and during his absence from France his horses will be under the management of Leon Diggle. -. is stated that Mr. Macomber, when he returns to France, intends to bring back with him from the States a trainer who is now in charge of one of the largest American stables.
