LEXINGTON ANNUAL BREEDERS SALE Tin. announcement has been made that John n. Madden, Jefferson Livingston, Edward Ccbriuu, Sidney Bedford, K. 1. Alexander and a number of other prominent figures in tlie thoroughbred breeding world will dispose of either- a part or all of their Interests iit the Annual Breeders Sale at Lexington. Mr. Madden is selling about thirty marcs and the good stallion Hessian, his idea being to reduce his holdings to a minimum and devote more time to breeding and racing a few. Mr. Livingston Is practically closing out, as he Is offering all his mares, and the same is true of Mr. Bedford, while Messrs. Alexander and Cebrlan are merely reducing their holdings; Among the stallions to be included are Cataract, a replica of his noted sire Ben Brush, and from the dam of Pebbles, Ultimas, Runnymede, etc. This young horse raced only in England, where he was a stakes winner of-no mean merit. . He returned to this country In the fall of 1919 and made his first .season ih 1920, when he served about tWenty-five mares. King Gorln, twice winner of the Kentucky Handicap, is also Included. In addition, something like fifty weanlings and yearlings will bo found iu the catalog of this annual event.
