. AUGUST BELMONT BUYS FOUR MARES L13XINGTON, Ky.. November 23. Major August Belmont today dosed negotiations, through Mj-s. Ed Kuno, manager of his Nursery Stud, for the purchase of four imported mares from J. O. Keeue and they were this afternoon transferred to the Nursery from Keeneland Stud. The mares are: Carene, gray 1913, by Grey Leg Mi-Careme, by Desmond. Duchess Kathleen, bay 1911, by John oGaunt Flora Dunce, by Lartas. La Diylna, bay 1910, by Arc fle Triompht La Douinn. by Macdonald II. Ladys Gauntlet, bay 1912, by John oGaunt SU" Lady, li.St. Simon. The first named three are bred to Luke McLuko ami Ladys Gauntlet to leter Quiace. ! j
