NIMBLE DAUGHTER OF FIFINELLA LONDON England May 25 It seems hardly any time since Fifinella won the Derby and Oaks at Newmarket hi 1910 She had a twoyearold daughter by Sunstar which Sir E Hulton has named Fifine She is a small filly but is decidedly an easy galloper Fifine made her first appear ¬ ance at Gatwick May 13 The motor van taking her from Kpsum broke down and she had to walk part of the journey Fifine is a plucky filly and possesses the racing gift in a marked degree for she won the Worth Plate in a gallop She reminds one of My Dear and may grow and thicken like that winner of the Oaks All the same she will never earn classic fame for no doubt on account of her lack of size she was not entered for any of the great threeyearold races Indeed Fifines only engagement next year is in the Grecnham Stakes at the Ncwbury Spring meet ¬ ing ingThe The little daughter of Fifinella was out again at Hurst Park May 17 when shu ran away with the Troy Two YearOld Stakes pnling tip to win by fifteen lengths If her engagements this year are carefully chosen it is not unlikely she may go through the season without defeat for she is such a clipper
