DEL0RIMIER PARK RACING TODAY MONTREAL. Que., July 1. It will not be for lack of horses if the meeting if the Montreal Driving Club, which opens at Delorimier larfc tomorrow, is not the most successful ever held at this course. There are over six hundred horses quartered at this track and other local courses ready to run. As an indication that large fields will be the rule, there were forty-one entries made to the first race for tomorrow. Jockey E. Smith, who received such a bad fall at Conneaut Lake, Pa., has been here for several days galloping horses. He has fully recovered from his injuries and will resume riding at this meeting. E. E. Major is a recent arrival from Connaught Park, Ottawa, with a firing of nine head, including tlie two-year-old Desperation, which he purchased from the Pelican Stable; also Sherman A., Mack Gamer, Tough and Tight, which he bought at private sale from B. A. Jones. The latter has decided not to race any horses this summer. ,
