Kngland, executives are considering an intimation from tlie Jockey Club that a more generous policy should be pursued in regard to tlie races at the Sussex resort. The Jockey Club suggests that at least 1921.sh,000 be added to the prize money. Morvich is being specially prepared for the rich Hopeful Stakes, to be run on the closing day of the Saratoga meeting. Victory in that race will just about place him at the head of the nioney-wiiining horses of the year. Morvich worked three-quarters of a mile Thursday in l:15o with his rider keeping a tight hold on him. Harou E. de Rothschild heads the list of winning owners on the flat in France, compiled to July 31, with a total won in stakes of 911,175 francs. Next iu order come: Mine.
