Won easily: second and third driving. OLD ROSEBUD, after being saved to the stretch, passed OLD SINNER with a rush in the last eighth and won under restraint, but pulled up slightly lame. OLD SINNER set a last pace and showed excellent sped for live-eighths, but easily succumbed to the winner. J KM steadily improved his position on the inside and would have been second in a few more strides. CUM SAII fell lame. T1NG-A-LING refused to go. HILLY McLAUGHLIX. under a skillful ride, followed the leaders closely under slight restraint until after eutcring the stretch, where he slipped through next to the inner rail and, wearing DARTMOOR and DEBADOU down, was drawing clear at the finish. DARTMOOR was hard ridden all the way and. taking the lend on the backstrctch. raced DEBADOU into defeat, but vas tiring when challenged. TASTORAL saved ground on the turn aud finished well. CITATION began slowly and was forced to race wide all the way.
