TOUCH ME. NOT OUT OF LATONIA RACE NEW YORK, N. Y., September 15. Touch Me Not, the Greentree Stables Celt Dainty Dame three-year-old, which defeated Grey Lag in the Lawrence Realization, will not race again this year. After a stiff work-out Wednesday in preparation for the Latonia Championship, in which he was to start, the colt developed a quarter crack. Trainer James Rowe immediately canceled bis order for a car to ship the colt to Kentucky aud announced that he would be retired until next year. Touch Me Not was one of the highest priced yearlings of 1910, but was a disappointment as a two-year-old and failed to sliow anything like championship form until his start in the Lawrence Realizatiou. His victory over Grey Lag in that race immediately brought him to the fore as one of the most formidable in the three-year-old division. In. Iiis only start since the Realization he finished third to Mad Hatter and Grey Lag in the Jockey Club Gold Cup, at two miles.
