LATEST TURF GOSSIP FROM LEXINGTON LEXINGTON, Ky., September 15. President Charles H. Berryman of the Thoroughbred Horse Association today called the semiannual meeting of members of that organization, to be held Wednesday evening, September 21, at S oclock at the Sin-ton Hotel in Cincinnati. Edward Cebrian of San Francisco, lessee of Keeneland Farm, arrived last night from New York, to remain approximately a week in Kentucky. He will go to Latonia next Saturday to see the racing. He had expected to get away to Europe this mcnth for a years stay, but he today stated that his departure will be deferred until about November 1 on account of the completion of the leasing of large land holdings in California to companies and individuals drilling for oil.
