0 MACHINE EXERCISE FOR BROOD MARES A most interesting device in connection with the rare of Baa Briar Geert mares at Bingbamtoa, . Y.. is a walking exercise machine. It resembles a m-ny go-roand when in operatlea. Bight areas are extended from a center pillar and extend to a miniature track. The mares are bitched to these and the apparatus is revolved by a little lead pony that is harnessed to one arm and regulates the pace. A registering machine is connected with the machine and by it a record is kept of the daily operation. An hours work of about five miles is the usual exercise given the mares daily.
