February 11.— The stewards of the Jockej Club, meeting in the offices of the organization Thursday afternoon, granted trainers J licenses to John P, I iftus, C. H. Shilling and A. K. Brealer and h Jockeys license ta Edward TapUa. Loftus :,nd Shilling are both farmer jockeys who J made long hat unsuccessful fights for reinstate nieiii as riders. Loftas Will train for tiic ak Bidge Stable during the romlng season. Many other licenses of a routine nature were also granted. A trainers license was denied to John . Dorsey , and jockeys licenses were denied to John Wilson. G. Tenrgin ami Ihaaaaa afcTaggart, whose licenses ware revoked some time ago. The application of Albert Konigsberg for reinstatement was also denied. No action was taken on appointment of officials for 19_2 or on filling the vacancy caused by tiie recent resignutiea of j. p.
