« "CURLEY" BROWNS BREEDING PLANS HAVANA. Cuba, February 20.— H. D. "Curley" Brown, founder and up to two years ago president and general manager of Oriental Park, who is enjoying a visit here, has purchased a number of mares during the last week and will ship them to his ranch in northern California, where he expects to e-tablish a breeding farm. Mr. Brown is also on the lookout for a first-class stallion. 1p to the time of his arrival here recently it was not generally known that Mr. Brown was the owner of sinh a place, which comprises 1,000 acres, convenient to a railroad and not far from tiie Oregon border. 4 «
