Madden turned over Yaselda, a two-year-old brown filly, by Sir John Johnson — Yallaha. and a chestnut filly of the same age by The Finn — Elizabeth D. to trainer Pete Coyne. They will be raced on the Kentucky circuit. Mr. Leonard Lyle, M. P., has introduced a bill in the House of Commons to amend the Gaming Act of 1835, under which it is possible to recover money paid by check in betting transactions.
