t SERENADER FAVORITE FOR DWYER STAKES NEW YORK, N. Y., July 5. Early in the spring expectations were that the Dwyer Stakes would furnish a turf battle of the first magnitude between the foremost three-year-olds of the year. The running of the Kentucky Special produced an upheaval in that division and the topnotchers have left the scene for the time being, resting up for Saratoga. The result is thar only five will start in the Dwyer Stakes, but instead of Morvich, Whisk-away, Pillory and Snob H. measuring strides it will be tho following, of which Serenadcr, winner of the only two races in which he has started, is held in high esteem and appears to be a colt of much promise: Ferenader 103 C.
