CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF Jake Schas, High Olympus and Huntress have been placed on the schooling list at Kempton Park. Over 10,000 persons witnessed the final days racing at Maple Heights, near Cleveland. This is only another proof of the popularity of the sport. An accident marred the running of the sixth race at Maple Heights Saturday in which the horse Smuts was caught in a jam and fell, his rider, jockey E. Roehm, suffering a broken collar bone. The horses Creation, Tim McGee and Winding Through have been shipped from Maple Heights to Latonia for a rest. Jockey H. Matter sustained a broken collar bone as the result of a fall when W. C. Dooley went down in a race ac Vancouver July 25.
