Won easily; second and third driving. WAKE UP passed PLUTREL in the early running and drew into an easy lead to win casing up. ANGLUM MAID began Flowly and raced to the leaders with a rush, but came wide on the stretch turn and lost ground. AIR TAN finished resolutely. TAMPER came again near the finish after dropping back. BUCKWHEAT was outpaced In the early running, but worked her way up and, finishing with a rush, won in the lust stride. BLOSSOMS showed much early speed and came wide on the stretch turn into the lead, but finished tiring. SALTON ran a good race. HOT COAL began slowly and was running fastest of all at the end. The latter, on the inside in the early rnnnlng, came fast on the stretch turn and finished gamely, but tiring. WITCH FLOWER had no mishaps and ran well. SANGRADO closed up throughout, passed WESTWOOD and took the lead, but tired in the final sixteenth. WESTWOOD set a fast pace and saved ground on the turns, but tired in the final sixteenth. Won driving; second and third the same. CARMANDALE set a tremendous pace and printed into a long lead on the backstretch, but had to lie hard ridden through the last sixteenth to outstay TRANSLATE. The latter began slowly and was forced to work his way up on the outside, but finished with a rush and wearing the winner down.. FEY-LANCE ran a capital race, but tired in the final sixteenth. MADELINE LILLIAN. shuCr:-d back on the far turn, finished gamely. DR. CLAYMORE, quickly improved, set the early pace and, after being passed, raced in close pursuit of JEWELL V. D., then took the lead again, but crowded JEWELL V. D. against the fence in the final seventy yards, for which he was disqualified. JEWELL V. D. showed much speed, saved ground on all the turns and made a game finish. WALK UP gained steadily and finished fast. AMERICAN BOY raced forwardly all the way. ENCRINITE lost her recent good form suddenly. CHASSEUR pulled up lame.
