The latter closed a gap and finished fast after making a wide turn when entering the homestretch. MANNA showed the most early speed, but tired after setting a fast pace to the stretch. THE NEPHEW and TAMPER ran well. MALLOWMOT set the early pace, but gave way when challenged. GALLIPOT ran fairly welL GALLOU-BERRY ran a good half and quit. NOONAN. The latter ran one of his occasional good races and finished in resolute fashion after coming on the outside when entering the homestretch. FINERY was taken up at the start when TAILOR MAID crossed over in front of her, but ran well and made a game finish. HARMONIOUS ran poorly.
