HORSES FOR OMAHA RACING OMAHA, Neb., September 11. More than 150 thoroughbreds are expected here for the fall racing, which begins on September 12 and closes September 23. The stable of North and Rowe, which includes Coflield, Barriskane and War Penny, was first to arrive and were closely followed by the J. G. Bussey string. From far off Vancouver, B. C, came two carloads, including the horses of , Frank Irwin, C. E. Groves, Z. Barnett and J. D. Waite, a total of twenty-eight head, and among them such capable horses as Money, Woodie Montgomery, Franklin, Don Jose, Madrono, Perch, I. W. Harper, Carlos Enrique, Dr. Kendall, Old Homestead and others. A carload of horses entrained from Lexington, Ky., Saturday night, arriving here in time for the opening program. These are Pinecrest, W. G. McClintock, Christie Holt-ers, Carl Roberts, Delante, Lenieve, Bess Welch, Tilloloy, Maysville and Missouri Boy. Racing secretary Charles Trimble has received applications for stable room from Herbert Tullett, W. Maltby and "Doc" H. E. Davis, all of whom are now racing at Montreal.
