Won cantering; second and third driving. TROUBLER passed PRIMO after rounding the far turn, then drew away into an easy lead and won in a canter. PRIMO gained steadily after entering the stretch and outstayed BROADVIEW in the final drive. The latter raced well and had no mishaps, but was tiring at the end. The others were always outpaced. Won easily; second and tfihd driving. HINDOOSTAN moved up rapidly after entering the stretch and, overhauling the leaders, took the lead in the last sixteenth and won going away. DIFFERENT EYES took the lead after entering the stretch, but tired in the final drive. MARMITE began none too well and rushed up into a contending position in the first quarter and took third place when JOYCE HOFFMAN retired. PALL CONNELLY finished with a belated rush. QUICK RUN, greatly helped by the going, took the lead at once and easily won all the way. NEAPOLITAN ran well and made a resolute effort to get up through the final eighth and outgamed SHOOT AWAY at the end. SHOOT AWAY raced in closest pursuit of the winner until midway of the stretch and held on well in the final drive. The others were outpaced and MISS CALTHA dwelt at the start. OLD FAITHFUL moved up gamely while rounding the stretch turn and, gaining steadily under hard riding through the final eighth, got up to win in the final stride. DISSOLUTE displayed the most early speed and held on resolutely in the final drive. TULSA was crowded back in the first eighth auil moved up fast after entering the backstretch, but tired in the stretch drive. JOHNNY OCONNELL ran well for seven-eighths.
