NOMINATIONS TO PATUXENT Laurel Parks Feature Steeplechase Handicap Attracts 58 Stars of Jumping Field. Judging by the quality of the horses represented in" the nomination for the Patuxent Steeplechase Handicap, the chief jumping feature of the Maryland State Fairs Laurel Park meeting, cross-country stables have shown keen interest in the contest. A total of fifty-eight have been named for the race, which is a ,000 added affair, for three-year-olds and over, at about two miles. A. J. Davis Ards, Mrs. P. Ambrose Clarks Blighty II. and The Trout, A. C. Bostwicks i Sea Scot, the Greentree Stables Peccant, J. E. Wideners Houdini and Mrs. George W. Lofts Sweepment are among the jumpers of reputation named for the two miles. The conditions and nominations for the race are as follows: THE PATUXENT STEEPLECHASE HANDICAP ,000 added.
