GLORIOUS WOODBINE FALL MEETING NEW RECORD ESTABLISHED IN DAILY AVERAGE MONEY DISTRIBUTION EXTERMINATORS GREAT TRIUMPH J. K. L. ROSS LARGEST MONEY VINNER The Ontario Jockey Club is not only the oldest but the most progressive racing organization in Canada. Catering to the best people of the Dominion, it always provides the best entertainment obtainable. In order to secure the best horses of both Canada and the United States richly-endowed stake races and overnisht purses of generous values are offered, with the result that the horsemen share with the association in the prosperity that such a policy brings. During the recent fall meeting, which began on September 20 and ended September 27, the club surpassed all previous records in so far as daily money distribution is concerned at any track either in Canada or this country. For the s.ven days of racing a total of 32, C80 was distributed in stakes and purses, the daily average amounting to 8,954. Without doubt the outstanding incident of the glorious racing witnessed at Yood-bine Park was the popular victory of the great Exterminator for the third year in succession in the Toronto Autumn Cup. The track was at its best and with so many high-class horses in competition it was not surprising that a number of new track records were hung up. Tremendous crowds were in daily attendance and from every standpoint the meeting was an immense success. The powerful stable of J. K. L: Ross continued its triumphant march in Canada by winning the most races and money at Woodbine, its representatives finishing first in eight races and contributing to the stables coffers the goodly sum of 4,990. W. S. Kilmer profited to the extent of 2,800 by sending Exterminator to start in the Toronto Autumn Cup, which, as was mentioned above, he won for the third- year in succession.
