DADE PARKS OPENING DAY Green River Jockey Club Announce Ten Days Meeting, Beginning November 8 and Continuing to November 18. HENDERSON, Ky.. September 28 The Green River Jockey Club, operating Dade Park at Henderson, Ky., will hold its running meeting November 8 to 19, ten days of racing. At its June meeting at Latonia, Ky., the Racing Commission gave this club authority to announce and advertise these dates, and as the 3300,000 plant will be completed within the next two weeks there is no doubt that it will operate in Noevmber; in fact, the club will hold a light harness meeting at the plant October 17 to 21. At the meeting of the commission C. W. Hay, Andrew Leonard and S. V. Nuchols were approved as stewards ; M. M. Macfar-lane as racing secretary and A. B. Dade as starter. Other officials will be submitted to the commission at a meeting to be held next month at Latonia, at which time the club will secure its license following the stipulation that it will be granted upon completion of the plant. Plans for the meeting will be announced about October 15. The club has assurance that some of the best stables in the country will participate in the meeting and give their support to making a real success of the efforts in this new territory.
