Won easily; second and third driving. TRANSOM forced a fast steady pace and, passing SUN QUEST on the last turn, was never fully extended. SUN QUEST displayed a good order of speed and saved ground on all turns. INSULATE finished gamely. WINDIGO tired in the stretch. MERRY LAND wheeled when the barrier was sprung. CREST HILL, under splendid riding, saved ground where possible and passed the leaders at the final jump and was drawing away at the end. BARONET jumped well and passed SEA SCOT, but could not "withstand the winner. SEA SCOT displayed the most speed, but swerved at the jumps and tired. PERKIOMEN jumped well. LILT set a fast pace and raced CAROL into defeat in the first half, but tired in the final strides. CAROL raced well, but just lasted to outstay VALADOR. The latter raced well.
