1 j , ; . , j ; . HELP CANADIAN BREEDERS Canadian Racing Associations Offers Assistance in Registering of Foals. TORONTO, Ont., October 6. The Canadian Racing Associations has sent the following letter to Canadian breeders of blood stock: Under the "Rules of Racing" you have heretofore been required to register the foals of each year before November 1 of the year in which they were foaled with the Canadian Racing Associations, Toronto ; with the Canadian National Live Stock Records, Ottawa, and with the Jockey Club, New York. No fee has ever been charged for registering with the Canadian Racing Associations. In the past inconvenience and expense have resulted from the neglect of breeders to register their foals annually before November 1, and in order to relieve them of this the Canadian Racing Associations has undertaken to do this free of charge, although the registration fee has been advanced from ?2 to by the Jockey Club, New York. The following extract from the "Rules of Racing" is emphasized: "Horses registered with the Canadian National Live Stock Records, Ottawa, and with the Canadian Jlacing Associations before November 1 of the year in which they were foaled will be registered with the Jockey Club, New York, free of charge, if received at the office of the Canadian Racing Associations, G Leader Lane, Toronto, by October 30 of that year." In order that this may be successfully ried out your careful co-operation is necessary. I am, therefore, inclosing registration blanks from the Canadian Racing Associations and from the Jockey Club, New York, which please fill in and return as soon as you have complied with the above rule in registering your foals with the Canadian National Live Stock Records, Ottawa.
