BILLY LANE set a fast early pace, but tired when challenged in the homestretch. TAMPER was much knocked about, but ran well and his rider was of no help at the finish. DALTON raced on the inside and saved ground on aU the turns, but tired after getting to the leader. FAIR VIRGINIA raced gamely and outgamed SATANA for third place. COLANDO, after racing in close pursuit of the pacemakers, came on the outside when enterinjr the homestretch and, under a vigorous ride, got up to win in the last stride. SAGAMORE raced SUN BRAE into defeat and took a good lead, but his rider was of no help when it came to a hard drive. SUN BRAE set a fast early pace and was easily best of the others. DELLAHM raced on the outside of the winner all the way and went wide on the stretch turn, then came again near the end, but could not get up. TROUBLER raced gamely all the way.
