PRIMA DONNA was compelled to race wide throughout. HOMESTRETCH, finished resolutely. BESSIE LEIGUTON was cased up when beaten. WINNECONNE was a prominent contender throughout, raced ORDERLY and LACKAWANNA into defeat and took the lead, but could not withstand the winners challenge. DANIEL A. easily outstayed the others throngh the final quarter. ORDERLY retired after going five-eighths. TING-A-LDNG ran a bad race. LACKAWANNA quit badly after going a half mile. LEGHORN, under slight restraint in the early running, gradually improved her position and made a game effort in the stretch, but tired in the closing strides.
