SBWELL COOMBS began fast and favored by the stiff going and well ridden set a good pace all the way and outstayed GREEN GOLD. The latter ran a good race and was wearing the winner down steadily. TOPMOST had no mishaps and raced prominently from the start, WIN OR QUIT ran well. DE BONERO came from far back. JANKU tired. FURBELOW refused to go. TRIUMPH showed the most early speed and finished gamely. DAN E. OSULLIVAN came from far back In. the last quarter and was going fastest at the end.
