APPOINT NEW PATROL JUDGE LiATONTA, Ky., October 15. General manager Frank J. Bruen of the Cuba-American j Jockey and Auto Club, who is A-isitinj? La-1 tonia, announced today "that Sidney Bender had been appointed patrol judge at Oriental Park to succeed J. S. Wallace, avIio steps into the position of assistant secretary and placing judge. Mr. Bender has been serving in an official capacity on a number of the Montreal tracks all summer, and is in charge of the transportation of horses from Maryland and Canadian tracks to Cuba.
