Won handily; second and third driving. AUNTIE MAY, favored by her light weight and the going, was in closest pursuit from the start and outstayed ELMER K. through the last eighth to win going away. ELMKR K. showed a good order of speed in pacemaking, but tired near the end. WHITE STAR raced prominently throughout, but had to be ridden hard in the stretch. JOHN S. FLOWER SHOP, under good riding, was rushed into the lead at once and, setting a good pace, stood a hard drive and held POWER safe through the last eighth. POWER ran well in the going and was running fast at the end. KITTY CARPENTER was close up all the way. POKE BONNET had to race wide ou the turns. MAJIMON raced in closest pursuit to the stretch, but dropped back in the last eighth. DINAH DEAN closed a big gap. BOBBIE SHEA showed the most speed to the stretch and held on well in the final drive. EVELYN WniTE was taken all over the track in the last half mile, but finished well. DEMOS slipped through next to the inner rail on the turn and passed HARVEST KING in the last sixteenth. HARVEST KING raced well, but was tiring throughout the last seventy yards. SMUTS was badly outrun and seemingly could not get to going freely until in the stretch, where he came fast. JORDAN tired in the stretch. MOON WINKS quit early.
