AVon driving; second and third th same. BELLE OF BLUE RIDGE raced uet to the inner rail all the way and, finishing gamely, got up to win in the last stride. VANDERBURG raced on the outside of the leader all the way and was forced wide when entering the homestretch, but came fast at the cud and would have won in a few mora f-trides. CRUGIE ran well and outgamed the tiring ROSIE II. The latter showed the most speed to tha last eighth and gave way. Overweights Chow Chow, 2 pounds. Continued on tenth page. Won cantering; second and third , driving. SEA MASTER was saved under restraint for the first turn of the field, then raced into a long lead and won in a canter. THEODOSIlS was a forward contender in the early running, but tired badly in the last half. CHUCKLE jumped poorly and was always outrun. THE SPHINX fell at the eleventh : fence. IRA WILSON ran a good race, but swerved out through the final eighth. KIRAH closed up ground and finished fast. SIMPLICITY began very slowly and closed a great gap. FLEER tired. HINDOOSTAN made up much ground. YANKEE STAR set a good pace, but tired after racing CHAMPLAIN into defeat in the first three-quarters.
