CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF The annual breeders sale will be held at Lexington during the week of November 20 to November 25. Mrs. M. F. Shapoff purchased from Mose Goldblatt the two-year-old Pompous, which will in future be trained by E. D. Springer. George Saportas was kicked while in the paddock at Laurel Saturday by the erratic Polly Ann, but fortunately escaped serious injury. Jockey Kaiser, whose contract was recently purchased from C. AVeidemann by W. F. Knebelkamp, is a Louisville boy, only sixteen years of age. He will be taken to Cuba by trainer W. B. Finnegan and ride at Oriental Park during the winter.
