Won handily; second and third driving. TRUE FLIER was saved behind the two leaders until well into the homestretch, then moved up rapidly and took a clear lead in the last fifty yards. AL BOYD finished fast in the middle of the track and outgamed ELIZABETH BEAN. The latter set a good pace to the last sixteenth and tired. TIIREB SQUARE raced in closest pursuit to the last eighth before giving way. SCARE CROW was in a jam at the three-eighths post and was pulled up. GIMME led under restraint through the first turn of the field and, withstanding several challenges from TREVISCOT, drew far away when the latter lost his rider and won in a canter. BYNG, under restraint in the early running, almost unseated his rider at the twelfth jump and could not get up afterward. PAGKBROOK was close up in the early racing, but tired and failed to stay. BALLOT MARK began slowly and was forced wide while going to the first turn, but worked his way up on the outside and, finishing fast and gamely, got up to win in the final stride. SOUTH BREEZE, a quick beginner, set a good pace and finished resolutely, but tired in the stretch. MOCO raced into the lead in the stretch, but tired in the last eighth. POLLY WALE ran well to the last eighth. TOODLES closed a big gap. MILES S. showed speed. ME2AE fell at the head of the homestretch and THE ROLL CALL tumbled over him.
