Won driving; second and third the same. ARARAT showed the most speed, working into the lead at once, and set :i fast pace, hut had to le ridden hard at the end to outstay MARINE CORPS. The latter began slowly, but saved much ground on the turns and finished with a rush. GREEN GOLD raced close up throughout, but was tiring at the end. GUVNOR ran a good race. LILY M. showed the most speed from the start, but began tiring near the end. VICTOIRE had to be ridden hard all the way and seemed to sulk at various times in the race, but finished with a rush. VIOLET MAIIONEY came fast after closing a big gap. ROMPING MARY also closed up much ground. MISS MINERVA and AWAY tired. CHILDS PLAY ran a fast half. LOVELINESS came fast through the last quarter and outstayed TWINKLE RLUE in the last strides. TWINKLE RLUE ran a good race and only tired right at the end. HIGH GEAR set a good pace, but quit after going three-quarters. OO LA LA and HYSTERIA showed speed, but tired. IN MEMORIAM, after being restrained close up to the stretch, raced into the lead and, standing hard riding from near the end, outstayed BO McMILLAN. The latter closed a gap and finished with a rosh under strong riding and would have won had he succeeded in getting through a bit sooner. GREAT JAZ showed fine speed in fast pacemaking, but tired. TRIUMPH finished with a rush after making a slow beginning. LATHROP began slowly and suffered from some interference when coming fast in the stretch. INDIAN TRAIL and PRINCE K. finished close up.
