PRINCE TII TII was forced back when he attempted to go through at the half-mile ground, but came again and, saving much ground when coming into the stretch, finished fast and gamely. BEDAZZLE ran well and took the lead, but was tiring at the end. VANISHING BOY came with a rush after closing a big gap. PRESTOLITE tired badly after setting a fast early pace. ROCKMINISTER ran a grand race, but began tiring after going a mile and three-quarters and taking the lead and bumped into CHERRY TREE, then being followed by repeated interference on the part of both, ROCKMINISTER lasting best. CHERRY TREE also ran a good race and stayed the route gamely, but tired. ROULEAU was done after going the first mile and a quarter. FHtEBRAND quit badly after leading for over a mile and a half.
