COMIQUE was far back until in the last half, then moved up with a rush when called on and easily raced into a sufficient lead in the last eighth. HALLAVILL tired after making a menacing move when going to the last jump but one. SEA TALE jumped and raced well, but tired in the final drive. MUSTY was much used in making the pace and quit. TEN BUTTONS took the lead quickly and set a fast pace to the stretch turn, where she swerved out and interfered with some of the others, for which she was disqualified. TASTORAL SWAIN ran a good race, but tired after getting to the leader. SLIPPERY ELM closed a gap and outgamed DOUBLH CROSS. TTv latter made up much ground. Won easily; second and third driving. BLOSSOM TIME was saved close up to the last eighth and, responding quickly when called on, took the lead with a rush and was going away at the end. DONGES ran a good race, but was tiring and doing his best to outstay LITTLE CELT. The latter began slowly and was crowded back, but closed a great gap in the last half and finished with a rush. HOW FAIR also was unlucky and far back in the early running, but was running fast and gaining at the end. OUI OUI ran well. BEST LOVE set a fast pac to the last eighth and tired. GENERAL THATCHER ran well for seven-eighths. DUNLIN ran disappointingly and came wide into the stretch. CYCLOPS quit early. The latter raced forwardly and finished with a rush. NOSE DIVE began slowly, but worked his way up on the outside and finished fast after closing a big gap. SADDLH AND BOOTS also closed a great gap. MARTINGALE forced the pace all the -way and made a game finish. MY OWN closed a gap and moved up steadily after entering the homestretch. RIALTO closed a big gap and finished with n rush. VIGIL ran well. BETTY BEALL tired after racing close up to the last eighth. BOYS BELIEVE ME quit. The latter was outpaced in the early running, but finished with a rush and was wearing tho winner down. COMIC SONG showed excellent speed and set a fast pace, but tired near the end.
