MAN 0 WARSISTER TO STUD LEXINGTON, Ky., Novmber 4. Mirabelle, the two-year-old sister to Man o War, Playfellow and My Play, was an arrival today from New York in Johnny Millers car. She was taken to the Nursery Stud, the place of her birth, where under instructions of Major August Belmont, her breeder and owner, she is to be mated next spring with Hourless. In this mating Major Belmont will be following the accepted practice of modern breeders, which may be summed up in the rule to return to the sire the "best blood of his dam." The best blood of Hourless dam Hour Glass II. unquestionably is that of her sire Bock Sand, and Mirabelle brings that return through her dam Mahubah, a daughter of Rock Sand.
