LATEST PAIR GROUNDS NEWS The latest word from New Orleans is that John Dymond, Jr., president of the Business Mens Racing Association, will also fill the role of general manager of that organization. Dymond will fill the dual office of president and general manager, with James L. Lamarie as principal assistant. Johnson Southard will he track superintendent, succeeding Placide Frigerio. The new track superintendent will be under the personal direction of judge Joseph A. Murphy, presiding steward. Announcement of the appointment of John Carey as paddock judge has also been made. Carey will also be patrol judge at the head of the stretch. R. L. Coger, one of the patrol judges in Kentucky, has also been appointed to a similar position for the coming meeting and he will be used by the stewards at such points of vantage as they may elect. Judge Murphy will be in active charge of the racing office proper on and after December 1.
